About Me

!nversed Poignancy!

...I am an eclectic amalgamation of many seemingly paradoxical things. This can be exemplified in both my seemingly endless persistance on many topics and arguments, as well as my careful cautiousness on other topics and arguments. This is largely due to how astute I am of the topic: more knowledge, more persistant; less knowledge, obviously more cautious. I also have times of obsessive compulsions regarding certain things (mostly just my thoughts, however)...

Life and Death

!nversed Poignancy!

Life

An assembly

Possibly impossible

Perfectly interchangeable..

Death

That lives most upright

Beyond the unspoken

Neither a squiggle nor a quibble..

She and Me

!nversed Poignancy!

She

A daffodil

Tyrannizer of me

Breaking the colors of dusk!..

Me

The rising sun

Infringed with violations

The impurity in the salt..

Love and Poetry!

!nversed Poignancy!

Love

A puerile desire

Buried in the heart

Never leaves..

Poetry

Sentimentally melodramatic

Cursively recursive

My thoughts idiotic!

Time..?

Living in a great land
where democracy is the plan
everybody believes
in the politicians
with their wonderful visions

It is time to stop
and think it all over again
before it goes down the drain

The police are everywhere
and the only things you can do
is to run dope or go on welfare
what has it become
when nobody takes care

Old people are put away
starving to their dying day
young people get no chances
when no schools are being started

Now it is up to you
show the country what you can do
don't listen to the evil voices
make your own choices
and start to build a brand new land
where everybody
can have the same opportunity
to get a good life
don't be afraid
there are many of us around
who feel in our hearts
that now is the time
for something to be done
so you are not alone

Living in a great land
where everything is taken
out of our hands
but we can not give up
because they are really weak
and we are strong
and we have to go on

The way..

Scribbled by Bharath On February 08, 2006 0 Thoughts have been Sprinkled!, Your Take?
All the way to nowhere
for no reason at all
misguided a long time ago
because somebody
did not want us to know
that there was a meaning
in the way of living
as human beings

Where did we turn wrong
why did they lie
when will we understand

We are born to die
because we have forgotten
how to live our life normally
and how to understand
everything that we see
we can compare ourselves
with fish in a fish tank
because we can not
find the way out of misery
our memory is blank
but deep inside
maybe something could be found

What can we do with this problem
I will try to tell you
you have to break the mirror
so you can see and understand
what life is like
at the other side of the big lie
and with this I mean
that you have to set your mind free
and start to think in a brand new way
and then you will be able to find out
how to live and feel
like in the beginning of time
when everything was fine

All the lonesome way to nowhere
without any map to guide
along the dangerous track
they tell us all to walk upon

Wars..

Scribbled by Bharath On February 08, 2006 0 Thoughts have been Sprinkled!, Your Take?
All this war almost everywhere you look
that is going on and on
and all they can gain
is to set us back in time
with no future left
to dream about

The Earth is turning
and the blood is drying
stop this burning fire

All this talk about peace
and the rising taxes
and the only way they want
to use the money
is more powerful weapons
and greater plans
with deadly intentions
who is responsible for this chaos
one thing is sure
we are all a little bit guilty

Start using your senses
and get rid of the crazy men
who are sitting in their leather chairs
spreading out all this fear
don't be afraid
you have the right to set the people free
start up now
it will be very easy
it will be too late when they stab you in the back
one more time with their lies
you are not alone
come on come on
it is time
we have to get rid of the crazy men
before they get rid of us

All this crazy war almost everywhere in the world
when will we stop producing
mines guns aerocrafts tanks bombs warships rockets
and when will we stop selling
what we already got in our overfilled stores
so we finally can get some peace

Colors..

Scribbled by Bharath On February 08, 2006 0 Thoughts have been Sprinkled!, Your Take?
Long time ago
we were childhood friends
we spent nights and days
trying to break away
and we had a lot of crazy fun

You have to know
with dope
there is no hope

We took all the chances
and had many
great romances
until we met the Dragon Lady

We got older
but we did not get wiser
soon no one of us
could be trusted
because we denied to learn
from our mistakes

We got separated
and one day I heard that you
had tried to fly like a dream-bird
but you crashed down into
the hard and waiting ground
beside the public toilet seat

Then I found out
what this life is about
and I am telling you this now
you got to know
with Dope
there is no hope
no hope at all

Long time ago
we were the best friends
but it all came to a very cruel end
you died with a dirty needle in your arm
and there was nothing I could do
to save you

  1. What do you want to write a poem about? For our example poem, we'll write about a country called Djbouti.
  2. Begin your opening paragraph for your poem. For example: "Off the coast of Africa, Is a country that exports no paprika. No cows, no geese, no flocks of sheep, Djibouti's income is rather cheap."
  3. Continue into your moral of the story, if there is one. If not, just continue on explaining about it. "If you go to Dijibouti, don't expect to find much water. For from there and here, it is much hotter! Don't look for a creek with a river otter, 'cuz you won't find it, not when there's no water!
  4. Something not to do? Keep repeating!! You usuallly shouldn'treuse a word in one stanza. But, if you look at the example above, you will see that I used 'water' twice and it sounded OK. So use your best judgement. And don't keep on going and going with words that rhyme. It's great to rhyme for a little while, but then you need to move on to the next stanza and start a new set of rhyming words. For example: "Do not go to Djibouti, If you're looking for a booty. For if you look up Djbouti, In a very nice big muti, You will find that Djbouti, While looking in a muti, is not a place to go to find your booty.

Tips

  • If you're writing poems for kids, make them rhyme. If you are writing a poem that doesn't rhyme, make sure it flows well.

Warnings

  • Don't make your poem too long, and don't make it too short.
